You can easily connect your bank accounts to Poplar by auto-linking or manually adding your bank account.
Auto-linking your bank account
Here’s how you can automatically link your bank account:
Log in to your Owner Dashboard.
Go to the Account page on your dashboard.
Select the Add Bank Account button.
You will be directed to Plaid to link your bank account. Click Continue.
Choose the bank you want to add.
You will be taken to your bank’s website to authenticate your account.
Once done, you will be redirected to Poplar.
Manually adding your bank account
To add your bank account manually, here’s what you need to do:
Log in to your Owner Dashboard.
Go to the Account page on your dashboard.
Select the Manually Link Bank Account button.
You will be asked to fill out the following fields:
Account Holder Name
Account Number
Routing Number
Account Type
Account Holder Type
Click Link Bank to save your details.
Note: If you have multiple properties, you can add as many bank accounts as you need. Just contact us by sending a message on your dashboard to enable the feature for you.
Adding your first bank account makes it the default bank for all your properties. To link a property to another bank, simply add a new bank account and re-link your property to that bank.
