How to use your Properties page

Your Properties page lets you keep track of all the properties in your portfolio. This article will guide you on how to make the most out of it.

What you can do on your Properties page


Add a new property

  1. Go to your Properties page.

  2. Select Add Property to onboard a new property.

  3. Once a new property is added, you can click on Complete Now to fill in your property details and start earning!

Monitor property status

On your Properties page, you'll see a list of all the properties in your portfolio. Each property card will have its own status, such as:

  1. Vacant - Your property currently has no residents.

  2. In Market - Your listing is currently being marketed by Poplar to potential residents.

  3. Occupied - Your property is currently being rented.

  4. Terminated - The lease agreement of your property has ended.

See how your listing is performing on the market

  1. Choose a property card on your Properties page.

  2. Go to View Leasing Report to see the following information:

    1. Total Inquiries - The number of inquiries that your property has received across all platforms.

    2. Total Tour Visits - The number of visits to your property, including Guided and Self-Tours.

    3. Total Applications - All applications that your property has received, including those that are pending, for review, and closed.

    These data have their own corresponding graphs below to help you visualize the performance of your property.

Review your property details

Once you choose a property card on your Properties page, you’ll see different clickable tabs, including:

  1. Property Details - This shows you summaries of your property’s transactions and open work orders, features, amenities, and furnishing.

  2. Access, Pets & HOA - This is where you’ll see all the details pertaining to your property’s access, pets, and homeowner association.

  3. Lease - If you have a lease agreement active, this is where you can review your lease details, including move-in and move-out date, lease duration, rent, and recurring charges.

  4. Utilities - This shows the payer responsibilities for your property, as well as the utility providers.

  5. Insurance & Warranty - You can view or add insurance and home warranty documents in this tab.
