Refer at least 25 friends to enter the one year free rent giveaway. Each referral is equivalent to one entry, that means you automatically have 25 entries to win one year of free rent. 

There would be one winner in each of our four primary markets:  San Francisco Bay Area, Seattle, Greater Los Angeles, and San Diego areas. Winners for one year free rent will be drawn at the end of our giveaway campaign.

Poplar resident

You will receive a credit equivalent to one year’s rent on your renter dashboard for the entire rental cost of the home you live in--up to a maximum of $30,000. The credit will be applied to your rent for August 2018 going forward. If your lease ends before the entire credit is used up, you can apply remaining credit towards your lease extension, another Poplar home or a home outside of Poplar Homes granted proper documentation is provided.

Non Poplar resident

Even if you are not yet a Poplar resident, you can still earn this reward as long as you live within Poplar's market. We will request documentation as proof of your current monthly rent amount and your landlord’s contact information. Poplar Street will pay the rent amount (up to a maximum of $30,000) directly to your landlord or property manager starting one month after you win the prize. If your lease ends before the entire credit is used up, you can apply remaining credit towards your lease extension, another Poplar home, or a home outside of Poplar Homes granted proper documentation is provided.
